SAVAGE: Angry wife, friends beat up husband's mistress, strip her nude

An angry wife in Zimbabwe identified as Mai Jerry and her friends have been arrested for beating up the mistress of her husband and stripping her naked in public.

The victim identified as Sandra Chibanda was having an affair with a married man identified as Gerald Nyamunetsi until luck ran out on her when the wife to her lover found out and attacked her in company of her friends.

According to reports by H-Metro, Nyamunetsi who owns an eatery, MVI Coaches, was having an extra-marital affair with Chibanda who is a cook in his eatery. The affair was so serious that he even built a house for his lover and her mother.

His wife, Mai Jerry, found out about the relationship and decided to take the law into her own hands. She and a few of her friends, armed with a pair of scissors and two bottles of opaque beer, marched to the kitchen of her husband's eatery and descended on the cook turned mistress.

They demanded Chibanda's phone but she refused to enter the password so they smashed it and proceed to beat her up. They poured "Chi Super" on her and beat her till she bled from her mouth.

Chibanda who got tired of the beating finally confessed that she had been dating Nyamunetsi for almost a year and then pleaded for mercy.

She said:

"Please forgive me, I will break up with him. I do not know what got into me. I know you but I could not resist, we have been dating for a year now."

The wife, Mai Jerry, revealed she was pained by the fact Chibanda got the job as her cook in her husband's eatery through her mother.

While the beating persisted, Mai Jerry, asked:

"Was it not my mother who helped you secure a job here? And this is how you pay her by bedding her daughter’s husband? You made me bake cakes for your children using my husband’s money making me appear like a fool. Today I want to teach you a lesson. I want all the things that my husband bought for you."

Her friends then used the scissors to cut off Chibanda's hair, clothes and her underwear. They left her stark naked and dragged her to their car parked outside.

Soon as they left, co-workers called the police who rounded up Mai Jerry and her friends. They were charged to court and were fined US $50 fine each to be paid before April 22 or they spend ten days in prison.
